Our History
After learning about the horrific fate American horses face while being shipped to Mexico and Canada for slaughter, we felt compelled to stand up and fight for them. We strive to educate the public about the matter as well as intercept horses before they enter the slaughter pipeline.

We make it our mission to rescue horses from neglect and prevent horses from going into the slaughter pipeline. We will provide medical care, rehabilitation, LOTS of love while gaining their trust and finding them forever homes they can thrive in.
Our Cause
Saving Grace Rescue's mission is to focus on helping horses in need. We focus our efforts on helping horses in our community. This includes saving them from neglectful care or abuse as well as owner surrenders. We assess the horses physical and mental well being and make sure they receive the care they need to become physically and mental healthy again. Once rehabbed, if possible we find them a forever home with their own family where they will thrive for the rest of their lives. If that is not in their best interest, due to past trauma or physical limits then they will always have sanctuary at Saving Grace Rescue.
As our little rescue grows, we have quickly realized the profound power our horses have on ourselves and those who work with them. We see their natural gift as a way to help humans as well. Through natural horsemanship we are starting to introduce programs where first responders, military and youth can come learn horsemanship, interact with our horses and gain knowledge.
